Our AfriCanyon river adventure starts with registration, getting your wetsuit, kit and a quick briefing at basecamp. We then transfer you to the river entry point, a short drive in our vehicle and within minutes you are on your way. A brilliant combination of fun and adventure in the great outdoors!

Hi there! The trip was really fun and the guides were super friendly and helpful. The only thing that I can think of is allowing guests to take a snack and water with. It gets really hot throughout the day and with all the swimming one gets quite thirsty and a little hungry. We really enjoyed the trip and we had a lot of fun we are only a little bit disappointed that we don't have any pictures of the trip! We thought that we'd maybe be allowed to take a phone in a waterproof pouch but we could not. We only later learnt that you have cameras available but it was not working on the morning. You should maybe consider letting one of the guides take a camera and take a few pictures throughout the trip at designated areas as well as a before and after picture. I'm sure people will love that. You can then have it uploaded on a site/send via email or even have it for sale. - Natasha Kovacs

The Skywalk Tour is designed to cater to everyone.
The SkyWalk is an opportunity to experience more about of the bungy jumping operation and learn about the construction of the bridge.
The SkyWalk starts with some general information and an awe inspiring view of the Bloukrans River Gorge and the massive expanse of the arch Bridge where the Bungy takes place.
The tour then moves to the museum. Here you will learn more about the history of Bloukrans Bungy jumping operation and its influence on Bungy jumping in Southern Africa. We also delve into the amazing engineering used to build this mega structure.
Included in the tour is the exhilarating experience of walking on the suspended walkway 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. It is bolted to the underside of the road deck and leads out to the top of the arch where the bungy jumping takes place.
For those brave enough we offer an optional “lean out”. This entails having a full body harness fitted, connecting to two safety lines and stepping up to the edge of the bridge. Whilst secured to the safety lines, you get the chance to lean out over the edge.

What a lovely experience, after completing the sky walk, I am more than confident to return to do the bungy. The views are spectacular and the experience is thrilling however enjoyable. The staff are inviting, vibey and extremely professional. My partner and I felt very safe in their hands, my partner did the bungy. Equipment well maintained and safety measures are followed to the tee. Overall a 10/10 must do! - Amber Smith
My daughter and I both had a different activity. While she took all her nerves together and made the jump, I did the Skywalk. I used to work on huge heights so know about the safety regulations. I must say the staff at Bloukrans is very professional using the required four eyes principle to check all the safety gear when you are strapped in. It gives an absolute feeling that things are under control and safe. The Skywalk might for some be a fear as well as it is a long way looking down in the canyon to the river while just hanging over the edge. But it was a great experience and allowed me to she my daughter doing the jump down. - Maurice Hoeneveld

It was a unique, great experience even without bungee jumping. Safety was extremely important. Every attachment to the safety belt was checked and confirmed by two different people without exception.
