Our AfriCanyon river adventure starts with registration, getting your wetsuit, kit and a quick briefing at basecamp. We then transfer you to the river entry point, a short drive in our vehicle and within minutes you are on your way. A brilliant combination of fun and adventure in the great outdoors!

My partner and I had a great morning with Africanyon. We were introduced to our instructors Warren and Julian and a family from Australia who were with us. We were fitted with wetsuits and all of our safety equipment including helmet, and climbing harness. We used our own swimming shoes , but you can hire some. We had a briefing in the minibus on the way to the location. Once in the canyon there is quite a lot of climbing both up and down and we jumped into rock pools , abseiled and zip wired. My partner and I are 70 and 65 years old and both found the climbing physically challenging, but we were well looked after and helped when required by Warren and Julian and it was all great fun and left you with an enormous sense of achievement. The sights inside the canyon and caves are beautiful showing how amazing nature is. I recommend the Africanyon experience to everyone and we would love to do it again if we return in the future. We had a fabulous time with Warren & Julian as our guides. Although Sue & I are both in our sixties, we got through the canyonning. Tired but not exhausted. Some challenging jumps, abseiling & ziplining. Lots of flora & fauna to see. - James Gordon

The Africanyon trip was amazing! The team fit you with equipment then after a short walk in you are swimming through the canyon, abseiling and ziplining down waterfalls! The length of time of the trip does depend on the size of the group which could have been clearer on booking. The other important thing is knowing that you store your stuff in your car - as a backpacker I didnt have a car and so this was important! But the team were fab! - Kate

The Skywalk Tour is designed to cater to everyone.
The SkyWalk is an opportunity to experience more about of the bungy jumping operation and learn about the construction of the bridge.
The SkyWalk starts with some general information and an awe inspiring view of the Bloukrans River Gorge and the massive expanse of the arch Bridge where the Bungy takes place.
The tour then moves to the museum. Here you will learn more about the history of Bloukrans Bungy jumping operation and its influence on Bungy jumping in Southern Africa. We also delve into the amazing engineering used to build this mega structure.
Included in the tour is the exhilarating experience of walking on the suspended walkway 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. It is bolted to the underside of the road deck and leads out to the top of the arch where the bungy jumping takes place.

The Skywalk was enjoyable with some great views, and there was a great vibe on the bridge. Our South Korean guest and my wife (who decided in the bridge) really enjoyed the exhilarating bungee jump. Professional and friendly crew. - Stephen Chapple
