Our AfriCanyon river adventure starts with registration, getting your wetsuit, kit and a quick briefing at basecamp. We then transfer you to the river entry point, a short drive in our vehicle and within minutes you are on your way. A brilliant combination of fun and adventure in the great outdoors!
Run the river with AfriCanyon, navigate through the river shallows, swim through natural tannin coloured fresh-water mountain pools, maneuver down water slides and abseil waterfalls as you dip down into the river gorge.

Bloukrans Bungy is proud to announce our NEWEST activity at the Bloukrans Bridge!
As an alternative to the bungy jump and SkyWalk Tour, we have introduced Africa’s first and only Zipline & HangOut adventure! A combination of adventures for those seeking an exhilarating experience to join the vibe. Starting with a 200m Zipline that gets you into the middle of the bridge and once on the bridge, you get to experience another highlight, our famous Hang Out Zone! To finish off this tour, you get to walk the suspended SkyWalk back to land.
We put you into a full body harness, where you first zipline out onto the bridge. Once out there, we connect you to our safety lines, and let you experience what it feels like to stand on the edge of the bridge at our Hang Out Zone and see the awe-inspiring view of the Bloukrans River Gorge below. (This is optional but is certainly recommended!)
This is an experience of a lifetime, and ideally suited to those who aren’t quite ready for the jump. This is the BEST spot to watch the bungy jump in action!
The Zipline & HangOut adventure is hosted with the same vibe and professionalism as the bungy experience and is a memorable addition to any tour or day outing.
This is perfect for groups, incentives, families and our FIT travellers.
MIN AGE: 8 years old (DEPENDING IF OUR SMALLEST HARNESS FITS) with parental supervision. Younger children will need to tandem zipline with a parent due to weight restrictions.

This was a truly amazing and unforgettable experience, enjoyed by me along with my two teenage sons. Aidan and his team, both on and off the bridge, were so incredibly professional at all times, ensuring that the experience was great fun but most importantly safe for us all. Having a go-pro with us on the day was an amazing way of capturing the incredible adrenaline rush you experience when you leap from 216 meters above the ground. The videos taken by the team on site are also a great momento of the bungy. Special shout out to 'Spiderman' who came down to retrieve us all after our jumps.
