1.5hr – 2hr swimming with seals at Robberg Peninsula
Guest report to the Offshore Adventures Office, located at Central beach’s
car park, 30min prior to departure, where guests sign in and are
equipped with all the necessities for the excursion. After all the
formalities the boat departs from central beach to Robberg Peninsula,
home to approximately 6000 seals, where guests jump into the water with
a fully qualified dive master for 30min packed with fun and inquisitive
furry seals!
The whole trip lasts about 1hour to an 1hour and a half.

Everyone was really kind and looked after our safety very well. We saw a lot of seals but the guides made it clear that their well-being was the most important thing which was good to hear. They looked after us the whole time and made sure we were ok. NB – ALL CUSTOMERS ARE TO PLEASE BRING A PAIR OF SHOES WITH THEM SUITABLE FOR SWIMMING AND FOR RIVER WALKING. If you do not have suitable shoes you can rent them from us at R80,00 / pair.

We (family with 2 kids, 11 and 9 years old) had a wonderful experience on the Africanyon canyon trip! We had a great time from the start - all the staff on-site were professional and fun. The kids were afraid to do a couple of the jumps, and both Puna and Julian did a great job helping and distracting them from their fears. The abseiling was so much fun, the canyon was beautiful, we felt safe, the ziplines were fun, and the hiking was not too challenging. steph and Darren are Very friendly guides and accommodates different personalities well. The standard canyon trip took about 1h45 to complete but depends on group size. It is an activity that one should try to experience as you swim in between the canyon river, jump down rocks, zipline, abseil, slide down rope/ high line..... I would say some entry level fitness would help but if don't have its also okay as the guides will adjust the speed according to fitness and capabilities. Harness, helmet, wetsuit and lifejacket provided. Pictures are taken at R200 for the entire group, so you can split the cost The guides Steph and Darren were awesome, they chatted and pumped us up and even the cold water didn't lower the experience. Darren's dive to release you from the high line was soooo awesome Steph's was understanding and accommodating to all levels and preferences. - Amina
We had an awesome time kloofing and would recommend it to anyone anyday. We thought the cold Winter weather might impact our experience, but no issues there. The wetsuits kept us more than warm enough. Thanks to our guides Tebzzz & Julien, who made the experience that more enjoyable. - Oscar Rohrs
